Remembering Irish Grinstead of 702: A Tribute to the 'Where My Girls At' Singer

Irish Grinstead, a member of the girl group 702, known for hit songs like "Where My Girls At," has passed away at the age of 43.

The cause of death was not given, but it was announced in December that she was taking a medical leave of absence due to serious medical issues.

Between 1996 and 2003, 702 unveiled three studio albums, with their debut single "Steelo" featuring the then-rising star Missy Elliott.

The group, which also included the Grinstead sisters and Kameelah Williams, had success in the '90s with songs like "Steelo" and "Where My Girls At."

As "RIP Irish" trended at the top on the platform formerly known as Twitter, social media was flooded with heartfelt condolences.
