Bet You Didn’t Know Jenna Ortega Learned This For Wednesday

Netflix has released a new featurette showing behind the scenes of their upcoming show Wednesday starring Jenna Ortega.

In the video, we can see Ortega taking Fencing and Cello lessons for her role as Wednesday Addams.

Jenna says she wanted to do Wednesday’s character justice so she took Fencing & Cello lessons twice a week.

According to Jenna, Wednesday Addams is all about her “physicality” so to get into the character she would walk like her & be more assertive.

Ortega plays the Addams family’s 16-year-old daughter in the show who goes to Nevermore Academy filled with outcasts and solves a mystery!

The creators of the show didn't want to make another Addams Family reboot but wanted to show Wednesday’s transition into adulthood.

The show also had Tim Burton’s expertise who directed the first 6 episodes & wanted Wednesday to be more realistic.

Wednesday doesn’t have a release date yet but it is set for this fall. Let's watch Jenna’s fencing and cello skills on our TV screens soon!
