Takeshi's Castle Revival: Bhuvan Bam Steps In as Commentator

Takeshi's Castle makes a comeback on Amazon Prime with Bhuvan Bam taking over the commentary role from Javed Jaffrey.

The iconic game show was a favorite among kids who grew up in the 90s. Takeshi's Castle, introduced in 1986 by the Tokyo Broadcasting System, has a massive global fan following.

Now, the Japanese TV show Takeshi's Castle is making a return this month with a rebooted edition.

Amazon Prime Video has revealed that Bhuvan Bam, a content creator and actor, will be the Hindi language commentator for the show.

Bhuvan Bam will be providing a comedic voiceover for the game show, portraying one of his popular YouTube personas, Titu Mama.

Amazon Prime shared behind-the-scenes footage of Bhuvan Bam's voiceover recordings for Takeshi's Castle.

Bhuvan Bam expressed his excitement, calling this opportunity a "dream come true."

The show features participants taking on challenging physical obstacles as they attempt to conquer Takeshi's Castle and win prizes.

The rebooted eight-episode series premieres on September 26 and brings back the original Castle Lord Takeshi Kitano to create challenging obstacles for contestants.

The show was already released in Japan earlier this year, while the rest of the world now gets to enjoy it.
