Sanjeev Kapoor: Culinary Maestro

Sanjeev Kapoor was born on April 10, 1964, in Ambala, a small town in the Indian state of Haryana.

After completing his schooling, Kapoor pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa, Delhi.

Sanjeev Kapoor’s career breakthrough came in 1993 with the launch of his iconic television show, “Khana Khazana.”

“Khana Khazana” garnered immense popularity and ran successfully for over two decades, making it the longest-running cooking show in Indian television history.

One of Kapoor’s unique contributions to the culinary world is his art of blending spices and masalas  (spice mixes).

Sanjeev Kapoor has authored numerous cookbooks, each filled with a plethora of mouth-watering recipes.

Some of his most popular cookbooks include “How to Cook Indian,” “Simply Indian,” and “Khazana of Indian Recipes.”

He is the mastermind behind several successful restaurant chains, including “The Yellow Chilli” and “Signature by Sanjeev Kapoor.”
