In an interview with Vogue Serena talks about hating the word ‘retirement’ and treating this announcement as an ‘evolution’ towards things she loves most.

Growing up, Serena was constantly learning from her sister Venus’ gameplay as shown in the biographical sports movie ‘King Richard’ inspiring her to be better at the game.
