Warner Bros Delays Major DCEU Movie Releases Of 2022-23

Warner Bros. has officially delayed TWO major DC Extended Universe movies Aquaman 2 & Shazam 2. This is crazy, right?

As per The Hollywood Reporter, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom has been pushed back 9-months from March 17, 2023, to December 25, 2023.

As for Shazam! Fury of the Gods the pushback is not so severe, still it has been delayed by 3-months from December 21, 2022, to March 17, 2023.

Director of Shazam David F. Sandberg addressed the delay in a tweet stating it makes more sense since Avatar: The Way of Water is taking ALL SCREENS!

Discussion about these delays sparked in early August when Batgirl was CANCELED by Warner Bros abruptly & many shows went under too.

DC’s animated series Aquaman: King of Atlantis was also removed from HBO Max due to the Warner Bros purge which led to their stock plummeting.

Another DC movie under jeopardy is Ezra Miller starring The Flash because of multiple controversies surrounding the actor.

A lot of DC shows and movies are still moving forward as planned but with so much uncertainty surrounding Warner Bros, we can’t be sure if there process will yield any RESULTS!

What to Expect from this YEAR's COMIC CON 2022!
