Stephen Curry has an elaborate list of achievements which include his NBA titles & MVP wins but now the same goes for his college achievements.
This Wednesday Curry made not one but THREE major achievements at his alma mater Davidson College in North Carolina.
Stephen was inducted into Davidson College’s Hall Of Fame as his jersey number was retired & he received his diploma! Isn’t that AMAZING?
In his speech Curry said that it was an amazing moment for him & his family & he was glad he attended Davidson College.
Stephen completed his degree in Sociology this May but couldn’t attend the graduation ceremony so he received a special individual ceremony!
If you are wondering why Stephen got his degree so late it’s because of a promise he made to his mother Sonya to get his degree after the NBA draft.
Davidson had retired jerseys before but this was the first time a player's jersey number was retired. Making this even more memorable for Curry!
Lastly to indoctrinate Stephen’s name in the Hall Of Fame his jersey was hung near the rafters to remember him & his contributions forever!
