Harry Styles who first made his acting debut in Dunkirk & was also seen in the MCU will appear in the movie ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ alongside Florence Pugh.
Don’t Worry Darling is set to release on September 5, 2022 & ahead of its release a clip featuring Harry & Florence was released on social media.
In the clip, Harry & Florence’s characters can be seen arguing with each other but the internet found something off with the singer's acting.
People were confused about Harry’s accent in Don’t Worry Darling and questioned if he was supposed to be British or American in the film.
Harry Styles switches between a variety of accents which made people say that he sounds like an American trying too hard to emulate Britishers.
Styles is in fact British and so is Florence, she was born in Oxford but has no problem with her American accent in Don’t Worry Darling.
Some fans did jump to Harry Styles’ rescue & said that his accent was fine and people only got confused because North England accents are less represented.
Earlier this week Harry said he will take a break from acting to focus more on his music & who knows it might be for the better!
