She was involved in the Femina Miss India 2012 beauty contest prior to her taking up the film as a career. She made her debut on Hindi television with the daily tv show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi in 2016. She also played the role of the lead protagonist in the show Kasautii Zindagi Kay.

She started her acting career in Kollywood for the Tamil Film Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu which was released in 2013. Unfortunately, her first film was not a commercial hit.
